PacificSource Health Plans’ Free “Inspire!” Workplace Wellness Forum Returns to Boise on Jan. 26
Topic will be behavior change science and how it can spur wellness program engagement
BOISE, Idaho (Jan. 17, 2017)— PacificSource Health Plans’ Healthy Life inspire! workplace wellness forum will focus on how behavior change science can help motivate employees to better engage in their own health when the forum returns to Boise on Thursday, Jan. 26. Conceived as a quarterly event to create and empower healthy workplaces, the free inspire! forum is devoted to sharing ideas and best-practice wellness strategies with the Treasure Valley business community.
The featured speaker for the Jan. 26 event will be Catherine Serio, senior director of behavior change strategy at Healthwise, a global provider of health information, decision support tools, behavior change assistance, and personal care planning. Serio will showcase scientific approaches proven to spur employees to become their own health advocates, and she will present ideas on how to infuse these methods into each organization.
The discussion is designed for business professionals, human resource and benefit managers, and other leaders, particularly those who struggle to persuade some employees to participate in wellness programs through more conventional methods.
