Upcoming Portland Workshop Details Noninvasive Strategies for Treating Knee Pain Without Surgical Intervention

Learn simple, proven techniques from licensed physical therapist Colin Hoobler at January 26 clinic

(PORTLAND, Ore.)—As part of its mission to support wellness programs and preventive medicine, PacificSource Health Plans has partnered with physical therapist Colin Hoobler to bring a workshop to Portland that teaches key strategies for avoiding and eliminating chronic knee pain without surgical intervention. The clinic is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Peter Stott Center on the Portland State University campus.

“Knee pain is a common problem, affecting more than 100 million people annually,” says Hoobler. “What many people don’t know is that there are simple, effective exercises and stretches that you can do to prevent and treat this problem, regardless of age or ability.”

Participants will leave the workshop armed with proven techniques to reduce existing knee pain and reduce their risk of experiencing future knee pain.

Cost to attend is $5 and pre-registration is required. All proceeds from the knee pain workshop benefit the nonprofit Preventive Health Awareness. For more information or to register, go to chpt.org.
