Pacificsource Health Plans Encourages Fans to ‘Bike to the Ballpark’ this Summer to Cheer on the Rogues

Three home games designated for riders to commute as a group to Harry & David Field by bicycle

(SPRINGFIELD, Ore.)—In an effort to encourage physical activity and to promote cycling among Rogue Valley residents, PacificSource Health Plans has teamed up with the Medford Rogues to encourage fans to “Bike to the Ballpark” this summer by commuting together by bicycle from PacificSource to one of three designated games at Harry & David Field.

PacificSource has scheduled Bike to the Ballpark rallies to coincide with three home games this season, including Sunday, June 1, Sunday, July 13 and Saturday, August 9. After gathering at PacificSource Health Plans (1301 Poplar Drive) an hour prior to the first pitch, fans will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for prizes before departing together and following an approximately 3.7-mile route to the ballpark.

“Bike to the Ballpark is a great way for PacificSource to support the Rogues and encourage Medford-area residents to stay active,” said Kathy Jost, communications manager for PacificSource.
