PacificSource Contracts with Lane Transit District for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Lane County

(Springfield, Oregon) December 4, 2019— PacificSource Community Solutions, the Medicaid division of PacificSource, has contracted with Lane Transit District to provide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) brokerage services to its Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) members based in Lane County.

“Since our inception in Lane County in 1933, we’ve relied on our industry partners to help us best serve the community,” said Ken Provencher, president and CEO of PacificSource. “We’re pleased to now include Lane Transit District as one of those partners.”

“LTD is pleased to partner with PacificSource Community Solutions to provide transportation for those in the community who may not have access to health care otherwise,” said Aurora Jackson, Lane Transit District’s general manager. “Through our partnership, LTD and PacificSource Community Solutions are working together to make our community healthier and more accessible for people to live their best lives.”

Lane Transit District began in 1970 with 18 buses and two vans, and a mission to create a more vibrant, sustainable, and equitable community by providing people with the independence to achieve their goals.
