PacificSource Health Plans Names Mihir Patel as Vice President of Pharmacy Services

(Tigard, Ore.) January 9, 2019— PacificSource Health Plans has named Mihir Patel vice president of pharmacy services. Patel has served as director of pharmacy services since he joined PacificSource in 2016. In his new role he will serve as part of the organization’s executive management group and will lead efforts around cost management in pharmacy.

Prior to joining PacificSource, Patel led the pharmacy benefits department at New York-based Oscar Insurance and has held various clinical and business development positions at EmblemHealth, Point-of Care Partners, MedImpact Health Care Systems, and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.

Patel graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his family exploring the Pacific Northwest, hiking, exercising, and practicing martial arts.
