Customer Service Representative

Our Customer Service Representatives provide excellent customer service primarily by telephone to all customer groups, including providers, members, employers, agents, pharmacies, and other insurance companies. To assist customers with coverage-related questions, they analyze customers’ inquiries and determine the steps for resolution and accurately interpret benefits and policy provisions for all PacificSource products.

Additionally, the Customer Service Representatives conduct appropriate research and follow-up for prompt resolution of disputed claims. To succeed in this role it is important that the Customer Service Representatives have a solid understanding of health insurance, medical/dental terminology, medical/dental coding, and standard billing practices.

Nurse Case Manager

The Nurse Case Managers are Registered Nurses who work to provide case management services which promote quality outcomes by helping selected member populations achieve effective utilization of healthcare services to enhance their quality of life and maximize health plan benefits. The Nurse Case Managers collect and assess patient information pertinent to patient’s history, condition, and functional abilities in order to develop a comprehensive, individualized care plan that promotes wellness, appropriate utilization, and cost-effective care and services. They serve as primary resource to patient and family members for questions and concerns related to the health plan and in navigating through the health systems issues.

Help Desk Specialist

As part of our Information Technology Department, the Help Desk Specialists provide support services to internal and external users related to computer systems and networks. They monitor and assign new help desk tickets to the appropriate technician based on the level of support needed and ensure proper operation to accomplish business tasks. The Help Desk Specialists provided the necessary follow-through and produce utilization reports.

Client Service Representative

The Client Service Representatives work to secure, build, and sustain customer relationships. They do this by fostering a partnership and enhancing dialogue with clients. As expert resources for clients, they ensure inquiries such as administration questions, supply requests, problem resolution, and intricate claims issues are responded to and resolved in a timely fashion. The Client Service Representatives conduct group enrollment and employee benefit meetings.
