PacificSource Health Plans Regional Manager Named President of Oregon Association of Health Underwriters

Springfield, Ore. – Doug Sheffer was recently elected president of Oregon Association of Health Underwriters (OAHU). He began his one-year term on August 1.

Sheffer joined PacificSource Health Plans in 1990 and currently serves as the insurer’s regional manager in Eugene. He has been a member of OAHU for the past 10 years and previously served as the organization’s legislative chair.

"We are headed into a very volatile time in the health insurance arena and I am looking forward to the challenges we face in getting 100 percent of all Oregonians insured," said Sheffer.
