Eugene, Ore. – PacificSource Health Plans has promoted several of its executive-level leaders to further strengthen its senior leadership team. The changes, which were effective March 1, will help the health insurer achieve its strategic goals and continued expansion throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Sujata Sanghvi has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operations officer. She continues to provide executive oversight for the insurer’s actuarial services, claims, customer service, provider network, and membership services areas.

Steven Marks, M.D. has been promoted to senior vice president and chief medical officer. He continues to be responsible for executive oversight of the insurer’s credentialing, medical management, clinical pharmacy, dental services, and clinical quality management programs.

Erick Doolen has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer. Doolen continues to direct PacificSource’s technology initiatives and oversee development and maintenance of the organization’s network of computers, servers and telephone systems.

Troy Kirk has been promoted to senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Kirk continues to be responsible for developing and implementing goal-oriented sales and marketing strategies, and for executive oversight of the insurer’s sales, client service, account administration, and marketing communications functions.

Sanghvi, Marks, Doolen, and Kirk, along with newly-named executive vice president and chief financial officer Peter Davidson, will report to president and CEO Ken Provencher as the senior leadership team of PacificSource. “This is a truly talented group of leaders who have the ability to work as a cohesive team, and to drive strategic initiatives throughout their own areas of the organization,” said Provencher.

Additionally, Paul Wynkoop has been promoted to vice president of human resources. In this role, he will continue to provide administrative and technical oversight of staffing strategies and oversees leadership training and employee development programs for PacificSource and its subsidiaries.
