Rely on Tina Vance for Friendly Service

Individual Account Specialist Tina Vance is on the phone all day with members and loves it. People say they can hear her smile in her voice. Since Tina's responsible for customer EFT statements and bills, FHIAP billing, and refunds to termed members, she spends much of her time explaining statements and rates.

“I want people to know that they can always call me with questions.”

Tina Vance

Before joining PacificSource, Tina learned a lot about leadership, money management, and customer service while working as a restaurant manager. Later, as a bank teller, she served customers for more than eight years and became a master of customer service.

Tina's experience and passion for helping people allows her to provide great service to members, and assist some who have been in especially challenging situations. “I had one lady write me that she needed to cancel her insurance, because she had to choose between food for her kids or health insurance,” Tina recalls. “I phoned her and suggested how she could lower her monthly premium with a higher deductible individual plan. This helped her make ends meet and stay insured, and she has been with us ever since. It was very rewarding to be able to help her.”

Tina was born and raised in Lane County, Oregon, and lives in Eugene with her husband and two teen daughters. When not at work, she keeps busy by attending her daughters' sports events and playing Bunco with friends. “I have three best friends that I have known for 24 years,” she says. “One of them works at PacificSource, too— Group Account Specialist Carla Edwards.”

Every day, in the Membership Services Department at PacificSource, Tina demonstrates that our members are number one. “I want people to know that they can always call me with questions,” she says. “If I don't know the answer, I'll find someone who can help. I care about all of our members and want to make sure they always receive the best service.”
