Issue 3: May 18, 2006
Until now, we have offered our Elect policyholders who choose to pay premium by electronic fund transfer (EFT) a choice of two pull dates. To effectively administer the extended premium grace period (now 30 days), we must eliminate our mid-month EFT option.
- Effectively immediately, new Elect policyholders who choose to pay premium via EFT will have an EFT pull date of the 5th of each month. Our EFT request form has been updated to reflect this change.
- Effective July 5, current Elect policyholders with a pull date of the 20th of the month will automatically be switched to a pull date of the 5th, unless they choose to discontinue the EFT. A letter was mailed to all current Elect members with a pull date of the 20th, informing them of this upcoming change.
- Transfers can only be made for the premium balance due. If the policyholder's premium is past due when EFT begins, their first withdrawal will include both current and outstanding premium.

Reason #3: Our exceptional customer service rating. PacificSource's level of service, as measured by our ongoing customer surveys, is consistently among the best in the industry. Each month we survey a random sample of our members, agents, group plan administrators, and |
providers. These satisfaction surveys gauge our customers' impressions on matters like our telephone service, the clarity of our written information, and overall satisfaction with PacificSource. By polling our customers on an ongoing basis, we're able to quickly identify and respond to any service issues that may arise. These customer satisfaction surveys are part of over 50 operational processes we measure and monitor every month to ensure we're maintaining operational efficiency, financial stability, and exceptional customer service.
Our average customer satisfaction ratings over the past twelve months are as follows:
| Members: |
96.5% |
| Providers: |
95.6% |
| Plan Administrators: |
98.4% |
| Agents: |
