Announcing Elect Plan Changes for 2007!

Special Preview for Agents—2007 Elect Materials

PacificSource individual policies renew on January 1, 2007, and we will make our annual premium rate adjustments at that time as well. In addition to rate adjustments, we're also making changes to benefits to meet market demands and regulatory requirements, and we're adding two new deductible options to our Elect Plus plan.

You can preview the new Elect plan benefit summaries, rate sheet, and application on our PacificSource Elect 2007 Plan Preview page at http://www.pacificsource.com/elect_2007.html . Our preview page is created especially for agents. In early December, we will remove this page and replace the 2006 plan materials on our Web site—at http://www.pacificsource.com/our_plansIF.html —with these 2007 materials.

Remember, you can fax Elect individual policy applications to us for fast turnaround. As soon as the application has been underwritten, we'll contact you by e-mail.

Alternate Plan Options and New Deductibles

Members interested in lowering their monthly premium cost are encouraged to consider increasing their deductible or reducing their co-insurance. In addition, we would be happy to suggest other options. As you know, we offer a variety of individual health plans for specific needs and budgets, including two new deductible options for the Elect Plus policies—$750 per calendar year and $7,500 per calendar year. The premiums for these new options are listed on the new 2007 rate sheet.

Members to Receive Policy Change Notices

At the end of November, our Elect policyholders will receive a letter outlining their specific plan changes and expected January 1 premium amount, based on their age and current enrollment status. In addition, they will receive a schedule of benefits, general policy endorsement, and a rate sheet of premiums for all Elect policies.
