Newsletter for Clients Will Launch This Month We’ve created a new newsletter especially for group plan administrators. Benefit Matters will be included with June group billing statements (mailing in mid-May), and will be issued bimonthly with future billing statements. We hope it will clarify information and make our clients’ jobs a little easier. Topics may include:
We plan to survey clients after our third issue to measure how well the publication is meeting their needs. If you have an idea or suggestion for the newsletter, feel free to contact us at news@pacificsource.com. Baby Benefits Program Name Changes to Expectations As we explained in the April 4 Agent Bulletin, Expectations is the new name for our Baby Benefits prenatal care program. The program’s new toll-free phone line, (866) 765-4537, is also up and running. (The old phone number, (800) 828-5891, will remain active for a period of time to catch calls from those who may still have the number on file.) Only the name and number are changing; the program itself will not change. Our Expectations Web page has been updated with the new name and phone, as well as revised sales and member materials. Marcella Soulagnet Is Here to Help You may not see Marcella Soulagnet at our Portland office front desk as often, but in her new role as Sales and Service Assistant, she’s still as busy as ever behind the scenes. From following up on pending renewals to requesting the new Group Profile Form, Marcella is on the phone to ensure all the right pieces come together for you and your clients. In addition to assisting Regional Manager Dennis Reed , Group Sales Representative Kristin Kennedy, and Rating Technician Doug Magilke, she’s here to help you with your questions regarding groups. “I want agents to know that I am ‘their gal’ for InTouch questions,” she says. “And if needed, I can help agents with their InTouch passwords and accounts.” |

Since Marcella spent a few years with an agency before coming to PacificSource, she knows about the joys, challenges, and frustrations that come with selling insurance, and how tough it can be to keep up with changes. She invites you to contact her. She’ll answer your questions or find someone who can. Either way, she’s here to help.
