Health Savings Account Pre-Tax Contribution Program Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) continue to grow in popularity as people look for smart ways to stretch their healthcare dollars. And with recent improvements, such as the pre-tax contribution program, HSAs are even more attractive. Many employers are offering employees the option of making HSA contributions with pre-tax money through convenient payroll deductions. Manley Services makes setting up a program fast, easy, and cost effective. For just $150 a year, we will provide your client with a Premium Only Cafeteria Plan with an HSA option built in. This allows your client to legally take the contribution made by their employees on a pre-tax basis, reduce the employee's paycheck by the same amount, and send the contribution directly to the financial institution that administers the HSA. To get started, your client will need to complete and sign the one-page Premium Only Plan Agreement form, then mail or fax it to Manley Services. An employer needs to have an underlying cafeteria plan through Section 125 for pre-tax contributions.
